Clean Sri Lanka - JOBA-ISD Bionity Programme - Third Planning Meeting - 15.05.2025

The third planning meeting was attended by Mr. Muthulingam and Ms. Yogeshwari from Sri Lanka, Mr. Manoharan from Malaysia, Dr. Magi, Dr. Alagu Annavi, Mr. Eronimus, Mr. Drama Selvam and Mr. Selvin from India, Mr. Ilangumaran from Singapore and Prof. Dr. John Britto from Australia.

Mr. Manoharan welcomed everyone and introduced the agenda. Ms. Yogeshwari walked through the programme with the new developments. Detailed discussion was held on each one's role in promoting Bionity in the Perdania University. As an outcome of the discussion, it was decided to offer three tier programme including 1) Online courses to give awareness and motivation 2) Submission of creative assignments on Bionity themes from the students and 3) Practical intervention of usage of the concept in their families, universities or community. It was decided that the participants would get valid certificate duly signed by JOBA Australia -ISD-Perdania University. A separate discussion will also be held with Dr. Vallabi and the university staff regarding English Teaching. It could be probably be a collaboration among Centre for Mind Managment and Communicaiton (CMMC, Chennai) for which Dr. Magi is the lead.


The discussion went on the outcome of the Workshop with the NGO/CBO/Trade unions/Education officers. It was decided to follow the previous schedule with the change of having four group discussions separtely with separate groups. Mr. Mano will lead Education officers, Dr. Magi will lead NGO leaders, Mr. Eronimus will lead Trade unions and Ms. Yogi will lead CBO leaders.


Mr. Drama Selvam and Dr. Alagu Annavi explained their plans with school children. It was accepted with minor changes. It was also discussed that Mr. Mano would bring PR materials from Malaysia. It was decided to donate notebooks to school children from JOBA Australia.
